Techniques We Offer

Love Life Chiropractic recognizes that every person and every spine is different. Therefore, our office uses various techniques to best suit you and your family’s needs. Each chiropractic technique we use is extremely effective in improving proper spinal biomechanics and reducing nervous system interference.

Bio Geometric Integration (BGI)

BGI is an approach to chiropractic, not a technique. It is utilized through the recognition of tensional patterns through the sacred geometry of the human frame. By correcting the distortions with the body's geometry and paying attention to tone, versus only tension & inflammation of the body, we are better able to release old stored patterns with more ease and also overall learning form the body.

Gonstead/ Diversified/ Full Spine

Gonstead overall uses X-ray and motion palpation to determine nerve interference. Dr. Jamie utilizes some things learned from Gonstead, but not completely in full considering she doesn't directly take X-ray's in the office . Motion palpation, tone, tension and geometric distortions of the body are other ways for Dr. Jamie to detect which vertebrae have lost their normal motion. A specific. gentle manual adjustment is administered to free any vertebrae that are not moving properly.

Thompson Technique

The Thompson technique uses a specific leg length analysis to pinpoint any misaligned vertebrae. Thompson protocol also utilizes a special table that drops in order to reduce the amount of energy needed adjust the spine.

Webster Technique Certified

The Webster Technique is specifically designed for pregnant women. The Webster Technique analyzes the pelvis looking for any structural misalignments in the mother. By adjusting the pelvis and connecting the nerves that control the reproductive area as well as the developing baby, it is more preventative in allowing either a short term or long-standing sacral subluxation to remain. Sacral subluxation may contribute to difficult labor for the mother (i.e., dystocia), caused by inadequate uterine function, pelvic contraction, and baby malpresentation. Correction of sacral subluxation may have a positive effect on causes of dystocia. (www.icpa4kids.com)

For me as a 3-time birthing mother, I have had the Webster Technique done with regular chiropractic care with 2 out of the 3 pregnancies. For one of the pregnancies, I had regular chiropractic care, just not done with the Webster technique included. Although that labor was still very safe & fast, it was the most painful as I felt that my pelvic girdle wasn't opening to its full potential like the previous 2 births. I could tell the difference in my own experience much like I have had women report to me in their own experiences of pregnancy and birth with & without chiropractic care. It makes a world of difference to so many of us moms!

Activator

The Activator technique uses an instrument to adjust specific vertebrae in the spine. The Activator gently taps the vertebrae back in place without any “popping” or “cracking” noises typically associated with a chiropractic adjustment. This technique is used on many children in the office.

Logan Technique

This technique applies light pressure (using a thumb or fingertip contact) to either the sacrotuberous ligament, specific vertebrae in the spine or both. This sustained contact technique does NOT require any thrust or “popping” noise. We use this gentle technique to adjust adults as well as many infants in the office.

Sustained Contact

This technique applies light pressure (using a thumb or fingertip contact) to specific vertebrae in the spine at a particular angle for correction. This sustained contact technique does NOT require any thrust or “popping” noise. We use this gentle technique to adjust adults as well as many infants in the office.

Cranial Work

The head holds 80% of the overall function of the central nervous system. With that being the case, it makes sense to clear out restrictions in the cranial vault to increase nervous system function and overall cerebral spinal fluid (CSF) flow.

Extremity Care

I have found more benefit to check everyone from head to toe as well as listen to what their body needs & is telling me. Full body care seems to work best for most of my participants, as well as myself. Chiropractic care is also a great way to address shoulder, elbow, wrist/hand/finger, hip, knee, ankle/foot/toe issues. Everything in the body is connected, so clearing the body from the spine to the extremities offers added benefit to many.

"We offer authentic healthcare and wellness solutions for our participants, with integrity, love and compassion at the forefront of every exchange. As we strive for continuous improvement in the office, our health and within our own lives, we want everyone to have the awareness & freedom to make informed, empowered healthcare decisions that lend to the faith and security that we all deserve within health & life.

We are more powerful than we know! Let's live in that power!"
